10 Week Program
Ladybug Academy's Happy Bug program has been purposefully designed to promote stronger emotional and physical awareness though weekly curriculum focused mindfulness and movement classes. Grounded in recent developments in positive psychology and wellbeing studies for children, Happy Bug aims to provide each child with the opportunity to develop a more secure sense of personal identity.
Through helping children to gain new tools to build healthy relationships, work as a team, collaborate and communicate confidently, we believe that each and every one of us can live healthy, happy and whole lives.
Our weekly classes utilise a unique blend of yoga-based movement, music, dance, singing, fun games, and hands-on activities, including:
Fine and gross motor skills development
Identifying and nurturing personal strengths
Cultivating gratitude, patience and sharing
Partner, group and team collaboration
Age appropriate breathing and mindfulness exercises
Theme focused learning experiences through movement
We can adapt our classes to suit your curriculum needs, tailoring sessions to a particular concept or topic. For example, we can structure classes around community and national events calendars such as Earth Day, Harmony Day, Sea Week and more!
All of our presenters are fully trained, passionate Happy Bugs, fully insured with current Working with Children checks.
